This device allows for receiving of Driver ID messages from Driver ID Pucks, sending those messages through the FT200 and over the Flagtronics network. This enables race control and media / race announcers to have knowledge of what drivers are in any car at any given time.
The Driver ID Module has two connections: one DTM 2-way connector for CAN Bus (connects to FT200 over CAN) and one DT 2-way connector for 12V power and ground. Mating connectors are included and an optional CAN Tee harness is extra. This device should be mounted on the dashboard close to the driver for best performance.
