World Racing League (WRL) Introduces Flagtronics DriverID at Road Atlanta

This weekend, the World Racing League (WRL) is set to implement the innovative Flagtronics DriverID system across all cars and classes at Road Atlanta. This cutting-edge technology will enhance real-time driver identification and tracking, significantly improving race management and safety protocols.

Each driver will be equipped with a Bluetooth-enabled device, referred to as a "puck," costing $25. Additionally, every car will feature a $100 DriverID Module. Utilizing Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) proximity technology, the system will accurately determine which driver is in each car at any given moment.

This rollout marks a significant advancement in racing technology, promising to streamline operations and provide more precise data during races. The WRL's adoption of Flagtronics DriverID highlights the league's commitment to innovation and enhanced safety in motorsports.
