Both the FT200 and FT-RD Kits include a compact rechargeable auxiliary battery integrated into the wiring harness. This backup power source allows the in-car flagging device to remain operational for up to 15 minutes after the car is powered off—whether in the pits, garage, or in the event of an unexpected power loss on track.
The battery automatically recharges whenever your In-Car Device is powered on via either the 12V flying leads or 5V USB input.
